So I've heard mixed thoughts
some say you need to make a "switch" (from what I understand like an on/off switch in your car)
and some say you can just ground the e-break wire.

has anyone done this to their pioneer?
I'm not gonna drive/watch movie but I just hate the idea of being stricted.. if u know what I mean

Don't do it. Fine is <$15,000. Not smart to do.

you can just tie the e-brake wire into the regular ground wire in the wiring harness to solve this problem for most.

others require the action of it being off sometimes or they will not work right(these are the units the switch comes in handy)

hmm i should look into mine but all i have to do i pop my e brake cover off and pull the wire could do that if i got pulled over.

Up to 15000. One of the guys from west coast customs or w/e its called got nabbed a year or so and got fined up the ass.

Another thing is you get the blame. If you get hit by a drunk driver and you have a dvd playing its automatically your fault.
