My girlfriend drives a '94 Cutless and she just intalled speakers. They worked fine until a few days ago the front left one started rattling.

I'm guessing this is an easy fix I just don't know anything about car audio.

Like as soon as you turn it up to somewhat moderate level, it sounds like the whole speaker itself is shaking..

I dunno.

Blown or mounted poorly. Are they getting enough power? Clipping can sound somewhat like rattling, am I right?

considering "she" was in charge of the install they are probably some shit speakers that blew in a week.

be surprised if he doesn't come back with a brand name like pyle or pyramid.

She got Alpine in the back and then Xplode in the front. I facepalmed when she told me about the Xplode ones, so blown speaker probably?

It sounds like her actual speaker is shaking when she turns it up a bit, I dunno how to explain.
