i had everything running good, until one day i decided to kick it up a little.
i run a mtx 12 sub, enclosed, mtx amp, and ken-wood deck
music plays but sub doesn't bump at all...
the red light is on, on the amp indicating it is on..

Why isnt the sub bumping?

Looking for different things i should try or check to figure out this problem.

the only wires i really checked were the speaker wires from the sub to amp.
if any of the other wires were damaged to fried, then the amp light wouldn't turn on i believe

its what controls the whole thing pretty much. fixing it is kind of out of the question unless you have a high dollar sub.

push on the sub gently and if its rough or won't move its probably the voice coil.

It should be easy to tell if ur subs fried once u get it out of there. If u can see the voicecoil u can tell. Maybe smell it. And if u want then maybe u got a multimeter. Either way try the other one but becareful with ur settings.. if it isn't loud enough then its not loud enough.

Check all the wires that run to the amp, including rca's. Pull your deck out and make sure the rca's are secure to the deck as well.
