soooo i need a a sub and i have no idea what else, i dont need it to be mind rattling i just want some nice bass. my friend has one 10 and that sounds just fine for me, can anyone suggest what i would need and a sub/amp for the trunk of my car? i listen to all kinds of music so no real preference. if you need anymore info pm me and ill post here, thanks!

that subs not going to do a whole lot and probably not last very long either.

what kind of budget?

treb=treble=non-bass frequencies

you're going to need a new radio most likely.

ehh i dont really want to spend over 250 because i dont have that much saved up and my dad wont let me spend much more that that on it. and i dont need head thumping i just want something that will make my rap and hiphop sound a little more powerful.

forget about the sub and upgrade head unit/door speakers. you simply don't have the money to do a sub install right now.

first off your head unit won't even hook up to an aftermarket amp most likely.
second its weak and not very well built
third wait til you have the budget for a worthwhile sub

Those mtx terminators are garbage, my cousin bought the 2 12" set a while back burnt out after a month... the amp didnt even have a low pass fitler... headunit first then get a proper sub

If you're cheap enough to drive a heap like that, chances are you aren't going to be willing to spend enough for it to be worth it.

yeah because for a 16 year old who just got a job this year, and 01 focus with 40000 miles on it is a heap. thanks for contributing.
