soo
iv got the amp hooked up grounded blah blah subs hooked up
remote from amp to remote wire on headunit hooked up
the rcas hooked up
the amp turns on but i do not hear anything.

if everything works and you still dont hear any sounds, check to see the speakers are hooked up. i had a similar experience as well due to a shitty sub. gl

when i plug one of the rcas into that input slave i hear a mono sound coming out of the sub

no its not the factory head unit
its a kenwood ddx418 wired into my stock factory amp.. i unhooked it and ran the remote cable to the new amp.

im thinking its a setting on hte kenwood
but i have it set to rear/sw.

Now if the car has a factory amp, you are gonna have to run a bypass to it because factory amps have all of the speakers wired through it.
When i ran my buddies tiburon we wouldnt get any sound at all because of the factory amp.

well whats the year/make/model of the vehicle? Have to know the actual factory setup before i can point you in the right direction. This also isnt a guaranteed fix, just an idea for what the might be.

But if everything is hooked up, and you arent getting any sound than thats what i would be looking into first.

yeah they have that gay ass infinity sound system. i cant remember exactly how we did that one, give me a few to look the info back up and ill either post or pm you with the exact details to fix that issue.
