First Doubles tournament this week, any key things I should remember? This is my first competitive game, so I just wanna get some heads-up from experienced people here!:)

Keep your eyes on the ball ^^

Sigh, lol. The thing is, serving is one of my weakest points in tennis, and volley comes next... On the other hand my partner is quite good, not amazingly good but definitely better than me and has a few years more experience than me. Tournament is in less than a week. i'm worried ill completely embarrass myself and disgrace him lol

Hmm I was being serious haha, I sometimes forget to look at the ball and messes me up, especially on volleys. As for the rest, I dont know xD. Have confidence in your shots and don't give the ball to the netman(opposing team)

Lol:D If you can give me any other helpful tips that are kinda obvious but easy to forget, I'd definitely like that via post/pm!! Haha. I'm practicing 2 hours a day, twice a day until the tournament, so it might refine my volley/serve skills.

lol. i hate it when my teammate sucks balls. pisses you off every time. then when you lose, you blame your teammate cuz he sucks haha
Just don't go for balls that you can't hit. Communication is key: call it if your sure you can get it. Don't do any stupid tricks like jump spin volley, when your teammate can get it.
Let your teammate get most of the balls if he can get them
