do score does the ball have to go through the back of the court or it can double bounce. or can it go out from the sides because my one friend just plays the net and just hits it straight to the side every time.

you can bounce it to the side like that. thats why when you hit it you want to make it bounce further back in the court so the opponent cant just hit it at a harsh angle
