federer was cruising through tsonga and then choked on a fat one. i feel like this is the first time fed has ever blown a 2 set lead?

i've heard rumors of the '12 olympics being his last thing

Oh 2012 wouldn't surprise me of course.. since he wants the olympics for sure, he loves that. Had double gold medal already but now wants singles of course :) and 2012 is 2 seasons from now, so that's quite a while.

He really doesn't care for not being #1 anymore, as he still enjoys tennis and has nothing to prove now. Of course he is losing some matches now.. of course some players have a strong record against him. Look at Nadal in 5 years and he will be in the same situation if not worse, so there's really nothing wrong here.

yea... but somehow it'll be sad to see him on the court when hes far from his prime (not talking about now, but imagine five years from now)... i mean sure we all love him but it'll suck if he continues till the day where he's struggling to get past quarter finals in the big events...

lol, that happens to everyone eventually (very few exceptions) if they play till they get old. natural cycle in sports.
