Because this is jsp, I know people will cry about me saying 'new', but of course I know she has had decent results before, but was just never considered a favourite for any tournaments.

I know most of you would prefer Ivanovic - Sharapova for the quality of tennis, but come on, does really nobody care?

Who the fuck would want to see those two winning. Such fucking boring tennis, jeez. If anything I'd want Henin to pull her shit together and stop being injured and win another 27 Majors, that'd be something.

It was fun to see Na Li (or Li Na, w/e it is) win. First of all she's never won a slam, and it's always fun to see new players winning those Majors. Second of all, she was the first one from China right? Although I think in 50 years the Chinese will be dominating women's tennis, so this will just be the first out of many.

i thought li na was going to win australian open so it was nice to see her win this b/c i have been saying shes the real deal all year -- shes going to go on to win a 2nd major this year imo

A first round of the ATP of the WTA on Bali between Ivanovic - Sharapova would probably get more viewers than a grand slam final between Schiavone - Kuznetsova

It's good to see at least 1 person care about the actual playing of tennis though

Great to see new players win majors :) Hope she continues as solid as before and we might have a great new legendary player :P

Sad to see her out so soon one of those million Russian(or some country like it) clones that won't win the tournament anyways
