Not sure how to make polls, but just post up which one you do

Platform is when your feet remain apart for majority of the serve
Pinpoint is if you bring your feet together with the toss

I use to do pinpoint but switched and never looked back, platform just feels so much more comfortable

I put my feet together for the jump aswell. I think it looks a bit like Roddick does with his feet.

I use platform, but I don't have my feet as close as Roddick has, but more like Federer has his.

When I was younger I used to do pinpoint, but like you I also changed it :)

Roddick has his feet together before the toss. I guess what OP meant with pinpoint is that you have your feet apart and while you throw the ball up you move your right foot towards your left foot (if you're right-handed) and bring them together and then hit the ball. Could be wrong though.

Imo there are three serves ppl normally use.

1. "Platform is when your feet remain apart for majority of the serve" Like Federer does.
2. "Pinpoint is if you bring your feet together with the toss" Like Karlovic does.
3. You keep your feet together before the toss. Like Roddick does.

Difference between #1 and #3 is that there is more space between the feet at #1.

Ooh we don't use those names here. I serve a bit like Roddick though, just faster. ;)
