I understand the idea of how to serve but whats the best way to finally get it right?
I have most of the game down except my Serve.

3 people have told me how and showed me but for somereason i cant really get it
I only play every weekend ot every other weekend.
I got hieght, speed and strength but no serve

advic?

Posting a video of your serve would be a huge help....

Are you going for a flat serve/kick serve/slice serve or..... we need a little more info.

i think im workin on basic flat serve for now then work on the others.


and i might be leaning back a lil to much to start out. i only play weekends

dont take your racket behind your body until u reach the top then swing through. i do the same thing.

this is a decent description watch the arm on the take back and see how his wrist stays parallel to the ground. this is most likely what your doing. also make sure the grip is correct and not too flat or curved.

try this out for a while. if it doesnt work go up to ur local tennis club get a 30 min to hour lesson and just tell him to work on ur serve

Eh that's one style. Not one I prefer since it's not very flowing. Puts unnecessary strain on the serving shoulder imo.
