Hey, I'm just wondering if there's a very good site any of you know off, that explains the basics of tennis techniques and principles so I can practice a little.
Just to get better. I haven't got in mind joining a club, just for playing with friends, and improve my beginner game.
My 300$ racket is just sitting in my basement collecting dust since 3 years, so I thought why not use it this summer. (I didn't actually spend 300$, I bought it used from someone :) )

Ask some of your friends to teach you a little. Not too much to learn besides a serve, how to hold the racket, back hand swings, forehand swings, and w/e the fuck there is left.

Hey guys thanks for those with input.
Well my friends aren't really that technical good either.
I know there's lots of different grips to use, backhand 1-handed or 2-handed etc? I figured I could do some reading and then try to practice on what I read there. Of course it would be better with an instructor :P

My serve was very noobish, haven't played in years now, but I remember trying out hammer-grip serve, I think this is the usual one, but that was kind of awkard I think.

My goal is to learn something by reading, since I don't really have much clue other than what I've "invented" on my own

edit videos might be good as well. doing some googling, but if one of you allready knows a great site I won't say no :)
