Can you guys list me your top 10 WTA players? So much talent it's difficult for me to say who I enjoy watching the most. I just love watching good Tennis.

In no particular order. Just name your favorite top 10 WTA players. This is my current list. 🎾

1. Paula Badosa
2. Eva Lys
3. Peyton Stearns
4. Emma Raducanu
5. Aryna Sabalenka (She's the GOAT!! 🏆 ) Have in the middle because she's the heart and soul of my list.
6. Mirra Andreeva
7. Zeynep Sonmez
8. Jessica Pegula
9. Ella Seidel
10. Qinwen Zheng

Paula Badosa is the most caring player in the WTA. She was ranked #2 in the WTA four years ago. Injuries have caused her to fall to 100 currently.
I would love to see Paula Badosa make a deep run at the 2026 Charleston Open. The WTA recently rewarded her a main draw wild card for this event.
She's battling hard so far in 2026. I hope she can win a major Tournament this year. That time she hit a cameraman in practice. Poor guy. LOL <3

Paula Badosa and Maria Sakkari were practicing together at the 2026 Charleston Open. Hopefully Badosa is healthy and wins.

Some of the matches I'm looking forward to watching in the opening round at the Charleston Open tomorrow.

Eva Lys vs. Katie Volynets, Peyton Stearns vs. Mayar Sherif and Paula Badosa vs. a lucky loser qualifier.
I believe if Badosa can advance whoever she plays. She would play Maria Sakkari in the second round.

All the top ranked players at the Charleston Open, like defending champion Jessica Pegula, have a first-round bye.

Aryna Sabalenka isn't playing in the 2026 Charleston Open. She would win it. Other players have a chance in Charleston.
She deserves some rest for the next big Tournament she's going to dominate and win. Aryna is the GOAT. Unbelievable!!

Jessica Pegula is the overwhelming favorte to win this Charleston Open. Also Iva Jovic is going to be very tough to beat.
But I'll be cheering for Paula Badosa, Eva Lys or Peyton Stearns to win. There are a lot of good players in this Tournament.

Looks like Paula Badosa will play Kayla Day on Tuesday in the opening round at the Charleston Open.
Kayla Day was able to defeat Yue Yuan in straight sets earlier today during the qualifiers. 6-1 and 6-4.

Eva Lys vs. Katie Volynets is scheduled at 10 AM Central tomorrow. Peyton Stearns vs. Mayar Sherif will be on Tuesday.

So far tomorrow's action. Let's go, Eva Lys!! I noticed on Bovada that Eva Lys is +100 and Katie Volynets is -120
That's going to be a fun match to place a wager on. Even odds pretty much. I had lost on baseball or else I would.

I love Eva Lys so much. She could easily become my favorite player in the WTA but I'm just really loyal to Paula Badosa. <3

Okay guys. Now I'm crying my eyes out. Eva Lys lost in three sets to Katie Volynets. 7-5, 2-6 and 0-6.

Third set bagel seemed to be a product of her still building up strength coming back from her right knee injury.
Anytime a player I like is coming back from an injury I'm always hoping they can win the match in straight sets.

Often times a third set is never good. Lys had two break points with chance at a 2-0 lead in 2nd set. A key opportunity lost.
She couldn't get it. 4th game in 2nd set same thing. Two break points but lost the game. Down 1-3 and could've been up 3-1.

Had Eva Lys been able to take a 3-1 lead in the 2nd set she likely would've won the match. She was in position. So frustrating.

I'm still proud of Eva Lys. You can tell she's getting better. After that long two-month layoff her right knee injury is improving.
Eva Lys needed to win this match in straight sets is all. Because I knew her stamina would be an issue if it went three sets.

Anyway. I'm looking forward to the Paula Badosa vs. Kayla Day match tomorrow. Time hasn't been announced yet.
There's also a lot of good matches of course. I'm just feeling full of passion right now. I need to calm down and relax.

This happens to me every WTA Tournament. I'm not happy when one of my favorite players lose. But I end up enjoying the rest of the Tournament.

The Paula Badosa vs. Kayla Day match is scheduled tomorrow morning at 11:10 AM Central. <3
I'm looking forward to it. The Round of 64 at the 2026 Charleston Open. Basically the first round.

With all the byes given to the top-seeded players it can be rather confusing. Also something to note.
The Peyton Stearns match tomorrow was cancelled. Mayar Sherif will play Yue Yan at 10 AM instead.

Peyton Stearns will play TBD (To Be Determined) on Wednesday. She plays the Caty McNally vs. Ashlyn Krueger winner.
Stearns was given a first-round bye after a few players had to withdraw due to injuries. Lucky Losers got another chance.

So even with Eva Lys out in the first round at the 2026 Charleston Open. I'm still cheering hard for Paula Badosa and Peyton Stearns.

Paula Badosa advances to the second round at the Charleston Open with a straight set victory vs. Kayla Day. 6-4 and 6-3.
So now Paula Badosa will play Maria Sakkari in the Round of 32 tomorrow. I'll be cheering for Paula Badosa in every match.

Also Peyton Stearns will play Ashlyn Krueger in the second round tomorrow. I always cheer for Peyton Stearns as well.
I'm not sure what I'll do if Paula Badosa and Peyton Stearns keep advancing until they play each other. I wish anyway.

Paula Badosa is 2-0 playing Peyton Stearns all-time. Last time they played Badosa won a three-set thriller. 6-7 (5), 6-3 and 7-5.
But what are the chances two of my favorite players can keep winning until they play each other in this 2026 Charleston Open?

I have to give McCartney Kessler her flowers. Funny story. I'm 0-10 betting on her matches.
0-3 when betting on her and 0-7 when betting against her. No more Kessler matches for me.

I bet on Janice Tjen yesterday thinking her clay experience would give her an edge. Kessler won in straight sets. 6-2 and 6-1.
My plan was to win on Tjen and then rewager on Stearns and Badosa. Failed plan. I would've lost on Stearns today anyway.

McCartney Kessler defeated Peyton Stearns earlier today in three sets. 6-0, 3-6 and 6-4. Stearns would compete though.
The final game in the third set was just an epic battle!! Lasted about 20 minutes. Stearns brilliantly saved 7 match points.

On the 8th match point (break point also), after several deuces and advantages changing hands, Kessler finally won the match.
McCartney Kessler will now play Yuliia Starodubtseva in the quarterfinals tomorrow. I'm giving Kessler her flowers. That's it. LOL

Anyway. I'm about to watch the Paula Badosa vs. Anna Kalinskaya match. The winner advances to the Final 8 (quarterfinals). <3
She is the player I'll always cheer for win or lose. She makes me happy. I'd love to see Paula Badosa win the 2026 Charleston Open.

I cheered for her with all my energy this evening. But Paula Badosa lost in straight sets to Anna Kalinskaya. 4-6 and 2-6.
So now Anna Kalinskaya will play Iva Jovic in the quarterfinals at the 2026 Charleston Open. I'll probably watch that match.

I was on the edge of my seat like it was the Super Bowl when Paula Badosa was on the serve and it was 4-4 in a tight first set.
The second set just got away guys. I posted the highlights. I was so emotionally invested. When Badosa loses a part of me loses.

Anyway. I feel like I put all my passion into this 2026 WTA season. It's only April. I'm thankful for Aryna Sabalenka winning.
I may take a few weeks off to soak in all the Tennis I've been watching lately. I'm still having fun but part of me feels empty.

But I know there will be many more Tournaments ahead. Many fun battles to watch on the court. I just watch so much Tennis.
Hopefully many more years that I'll get to enjoy this beautiful game. Every event has a way of touching my heart in some way.

I ended up watching the Iva Jovic vs. Anna Kalinskaya match earlier today. Iva Jovic won in straight sets. 6-3 and 6-4.
The last two matches that Paula Badosa lost were to Anna Kalinskaya and Iva Jovic (Miami Open). Two great players.

So I felt a little conflicted watching that match. They both beat my favorite player recently. But I'll get over it. Maybe. LOL

Iva Jovic is an 18-year-old superstar. She will play the Charleston Open defending champion Jessica Pegula in the semfinals tomorrow.

Also McCartney Kessler finally lost in straight sets to Yuliia Starodubtseva. 4-6 and 4-6. I'm a bit torn with McCartney Kessler obviously.
She's talented for sure. She defeated Peyton Stearns and Janice Tjen. Moving me to 0-10 on bets I've made on her matches. It's funny.

Yuliia Starodubtseva will play Madison Keys in the other semifinals tomorrow. Both semifinal matches promise to be exciting Tennis.

So it's down to Jovic-Pegula and Starodubtseva-Keys: The Final Four at the 2026 Charleston Open. May the best woman win.

I was just smiling right now thinking about it. Aryna Sabalenka would've probably won this Charleston Open. She deserves her rest though.
