3-6, 7-5, 6-3, 7-6(7-4) - Tipsarevic

his serve let him down for portions as the match wore on but he was able to get big first serves on key points and force roddick into a lot of rallies by keeping a lot of his returns on roddicks serve in

really high quality from both, especially in the 4th set. roddick seemed rejuvenated in the 4th but tipsy was able to dictate a decent majority of those rallies, and his w:ufe ratio was fucking ridiculous (66:30). roddick took the ace total 17-16 but that was really irrelevant since tipsy got a good portion of would-be unreturnables in and the % on roddicks 2nd serve was basically even. total points were 126-116 t

he would have to play monfils next, bellucci/davydenko will probably be in the 4th round, and then fish/djokovic in the quarters. this is all in feds half of the draw, and feds quarter is relatively weak although i would like to see de bakker/soderling in the 3rd round (pending)

high quality stuff from Janko after that first set. that guy just seems to show up in majors.

i was a little disappointed by roddicks rant on that line judge. in all honesty i want to see him win to keep america relevant in tennis, but he deserves to lose with all this shit he brings on. he needs to get that ego of his under control, especially since last years wimbledon was the first splash he's made at a major in quite some time

rezai isn't mentally ready to deal in grand slams, and i think even though she says hc is her favorite surface her best chances may be on clay

rofl @ wozniacki double bagel

fish still dominant i see, gonna go watch nishikori and cilic for now i guess

e/ and serious rofl @ davydenko getting smacked around by gasquet, that entire section is just loaded with chokers

nishikori up a double break in the fifth, 5-7, 7-6(6), 3-6, 7-6(3), 4-1 and serving

wish i had seen the whole match, and i seriously think cilic has a low tennis iq (not basing this solely off of just this match either)

nishikori looks injured or cramping @ 5-1

e/ cilic looks dead though so this is probably over

I feel kinda bad for him when he loses in front of his own crowd. Everyone there wants or even demands from him to win a grand slam but it's so hard.

he didn't play that badly, apart from failing to be aggressive at all with his return game

tipsy just killed him in the long rallies and got so many serves back, he would have beaten a lot of people last night

cilic facing 2 mps on his serve @ 15-40
