Here's a few reasons:

I. With team sports you support a team and a city whereas in tennis (and other "individual" sports such as nascar) you support one person. I don't see a reason to support some random douche who plays tennis.

II. It is incredibly boring (this one is preferential).

III. It is incredibly gay, which I acknowledge is vague but whatever.

Also, individual showers are more hetero than steamy team showers, therefore tennis is ten times more hetero.

I actually play tennis (albeit rarely), I just think watching it professionally is stupid.

But with regard to your point does that mean nobody can dislike Nascar or the NHRA because they can't participate?
