Fed rips a FH long to fall behind 0-15. Another FH UFE as he goes for the line (missed by about a centimeter, no challenge) and its 0-30.

Ace for 15-30. Double fault (good god where is the consistency in the serve?) and its 15-40 and 2 BP's for Andreev who hasn't even done much as of yet to earn the break.

Unreturnable to 30-40. Andreev hits a huge FH and comes forward for the Smash volley and suddenly he's serving for the set at 6-5.

Unreturnable to 15-0. Another hard serve down the T dumped back into the net and it's 30-0. Good serve, and Andreev moves Fed but gets an unlucky net cord and dumps it back into the net, 30-15.

Yet another hard serve, barely returned, but Andreev chunks the FH down the line and its 30-30.

Unreturnable to 40-30 and its SP #1.

Dumped into the net, back to deuce. That was his first 2nd serve of the game.

Another huge serve and its SP #2. Where the fuck has this serve been all match?

Good rally, Andreev long on a big FH. Another deuce.

Yet another big serve, Fed returns, but chunks the next shot and its SP #3.

Andreev with a big FH that hits the net (almost identical set-up as SP #1), and its deuce yet again.

Fed moves him around and comes to net for the BH volley, and this is Fed's first BP.

Andreev's FH called out, but he challenges and it's BARELY in!

They replay the point, but Fed moves Andreev around and he eventually dumps a FH into the net, and we go to the tiebreaker.

Serious drama here.

Fed to serve first.

Andreev with clever shot selection, and he moves to net for a nice volley and gets the mini break at 1-0.

Fed bullies him back, charges the net and gets the overhead smash to erase the mini break and get back to 1-1.

Andreev misses a FH down the line and its Fed serving up the mini break at 2-1.

Ace, 3-1.

Andreev runs around and rips a FH on the 2nd serve, but he shanks it and now he's serving @ 1-4.

Good serve, returned, yet another chunked FH and its 1-5 as they change ends.

Unlucky let cord for Fed and he now serves at 5-2.

Ace out wide, challenged by Andreev to no avail and now some set points for Federer @ 6-2.

Andreev chunks another return, and Federer takes the tiebreaker and 3rd set.

I doubt Andreev is going to forgive himself for blowing this set.

I'm going to the store to get cigarettes and a drink, as I think the threat is over and Andreev won't be able to come back.

Federer playing a bit better now and breaks for a 1-0 lead to start the 4th.

Andreev still ripping the forehand though.

I'm out for now.

Federer bagel'd Andreev in the 4th, lol. 4-6, 6-2, 7-6(2), 6-0.

Men's seeds who lost in the first round:

Soderling (8) (blew 2-0 lead to some clay-courter, gj)
Stepanek (13) (lost to the big serving Karlovic in 5)
Robredo (16) (sucks ass anyway)
Querrey (25) (ouch for USA)
Melzer (28) (could have met Murray in Rd. 3)

Gasquet takes first set tiebreaker over Youzhny 11-9

went from errorfest, to Gasquet ace, to Youzhny playing sick defense, to Youzhny choking and dumping a forehand into the net.

Gasquet gets an early break in the 2nd, and now seems to have an abdominal injury.

Djokovic is killing Gimeno-Travor or w.e his name is.

Youzhny wins the 3rd in a breaker, now trailing 2-1.

Gasquet not moving so well and his lack of recent match experience might cost him.

I'm routing for Youzhny, but both are chokers so nothing would really surprise me here.
