He's good, but unlucky for him there are guys that are just better. Unless he improves there will always be a Nadal / Djoko / Federer(short term) to keep him from the win.

Even the british commentator: 'I think Murray is a very talented player.. but I think there are some other guys that are just even more talented at this moment'

What's the point of using Federer's loss to this discussion? That would almost make me not even take your post seriously, since Roger has been the best player in the world for like 4 years in a row and won the tournament so many times. Murray and Federer are in totally different situations as Roger has nothing left to prove and is nearing the end of his career, while Murray hasn't won any major tournaments yet and is or should be at the prime of his career now. I'm not going to switch to Nadal as my favourite player when he's more likely to win something either, and I still think Roger is the best player at Wimbledon, lately he has been just a bit inconsistent. But as long as he plays I will be a fan.

murray is ever improving and only 24. probably the person who is most improving of the top 4... once he gets his game 100% down in the next few years he will be a big force for anyone to go against

and i know its easy for you to discredit this now, but trust me in 2-3 years this will be a whole different argument

to explain, the other 4 have great games, but they are just trying to maintain and stay healthy... not really improving. with the exception of novak, not sure if hes finally reached his peak or if he can get even better

not sure how you guys can think he wont win a grand slam ever. so stuipd its insane. hes already been to atleast 3 grand slam finals i can think of

I know he can still improve his game. His net game isn't great at all...

Well Djoko and Nadal are both better and both young enough to last as long as Murray, so unless Murray makes some crazy improvement I don't see why he would ever get better than them

He doesn't have to be "better" than them or ranked higher than them to win a final.

Exactly, so it would take luck or a bad day from them which would mean it's unlikely. 'Too good not to win a grand slam' is useless when there are 2 or 3 guys better.

This is just ridiculous.
The top 2-3 guys dont always win every match or tournament. and federer is likely on his way out soon, opening it up for him even more.

"luck" variance, "bad days", injuries, etc all happen.

Open up even more? It's as closed as it's ever been with the emergence of the Jokester.

yep winning 1 of the last 14 GS events means he has a chokehold on the world.
