You were clearly horrible at football.

For the rest of you dumbfucks: tennis requires strength, speed, and skill just like any other sport. If you disagree, then you were clearly never a competetive player. Sorry.

i love tennis... but ive been more tired playing other sports (i just have extremely good cardio and tennis doesnt make you nonstop sprint like some other sports)

At a high enough level I'm sure the fitness required would start to match and even exceed that of other sports. It's just because, at anything lower than professional, the rallies are very long and don't involve as much movement.

but seriously, guys a troll above me or sumn

but srsly

but srsly

lol

you dont talk with many people if you think that only the internet harbors people who dislike the sport. it's known as a feminine sport because it requires 1/2 the cardio that basketball requires, none of the physical action that football hockey soccer and rugby have. i've played it my whole life and have a teaching certificate from PTR and am completely comfortable with the average american's point of view towards tennis cause i dont give a shit. it doesn't however change the fact that its largely the least popular competitive sport in the united states among the youth.

Not to just randomly pop in, but Tennis is a weird sport. You will not experience a lot of cardio, or anything when you first start off. It's when you play high level Tennis that it requires intense cardio, and requires a lot of stamina. Other than that, Tennis isn't as intense as many other sports in terms of strength. The thing about Tennis that differentiates it from the others is that it requires much more dexterity to perform various and precise groundstrokes, volleys, and serves. That is why a person who first picked up a racquet cannot play tennis that well, but in other sports. All you really need is to be able to run really well to outperform other players.

i dont hate. i love it. its a fuckign gladiator sport. I body build year round and play rugby and athelitics in the winter. Tennis is my summer sport. its the ultimate battle. you vs him. it truely is a full bdy and mind game. if you win, you can honestly say you are stronger, better, harder, smarter than that person. also it is crushing to lose. everything is on the line. what other sport can do this? maybe golf... but thats not 1 on 1.
