Isner isn't really there either aside from a few notable matches, I still like Querrey's chances a lot more. While Querrey might not be there mentally all the time, Isner just plays some really horrific shots at times and his shot selection is appalling.
touche.. i think the problem with isner is his baseline game is actually pretty good on some days and then not even top 100 material on others, yet hes always trying to do his best and sometimes makes seemingly bizarre decisions to try and make shots that he simply shouldn't even be trying percentage-wise. also seems to have problems understanding both point construction and who his opponent is and what they are doing, and putting that all together, for very very long stretches.. a smarter (and even much less talented) opponent usually exposes this as the rallies get longer and longer.
i really do hope querrey gets it together though, he does have the tools.
