So the ruling is, the person who is hit loses the point, under all circumstances. Even if it is intentional(which is hard to prove, and doesn't happen too often in the places I play at). I remember one time I was playing doubles in high school and I wasn't paying attention at net and I got clocked right in the chest by a hard flat serve. It was a pretty good wake-up call

I just had a game this afternoon with collegues and we were playing double and similar thing happend and one of our collegue called the point to the one who got hit and I was a bit upset hehehe
now I will get back to him tomorrow and socketed that rule link in his teeth
