That is a crushing blow for Murray. Can he respond? He does at least go 0-15 up but is soon pegged back. He battles to 30-30 but Federer is on a different planet. He seems to have all the time in the world to pick his shots and when he does, he doesn't miss. There is power, pace and precision. He foreces another error to consolidate the break. 6-4 5-7 2-5.

really vintage from federer that set, to battle back from 40-0 and break and then just outclass murray the rest of the way.

Well this ones over. Ever since the Rain delay Federer has up'd his game to another level, Murray has lost his level and is showing poor body language. Since its 3AM here and I really didn't want either to win reckon it's bed time for me. Congrats Rodger!

Clearly. Well you're right but other sports require just as much concentration as tennis and the athletes play with the crowd cheering and yelling at them the whole time.
Are tennis players really that prissy? I think it's just a dumb tea and crumpets type of English tradition that has become the rule.

How much of a distraction the crowd is just depends on what sport you're talking about.

In any sport anything that's distracting to the player has to be taken care off. In sports like cricket and football the crowd is at a reasonable distance from the players. And even otherwise. You're forgetting, Tennis is the gentlemen's game. There's a lot of discipline in Tennis. You wont see a player yelling or arguing with the ref like t hey do in basketball or soccer etc. If you cant respect the game for what it is, you really have no right to comment about it.

I have every right to comment on anything I want, firstly.
tennis players argue with the ref all the time. But I don't see why that's even relevant. They are no closer distance from the crowd than basketball players are, for example.
Watching a long tennis rally would be more entertaining with the crowd going bananas. It's just some dumb English tradition that it's not "gentlemanlike" to speak out of turn or whatever...
