I hate how people can seriously think it's Tomic as in 'Tomik' as if it is an English name. Clearly Tomic sounds like Tomitch because he has a Croatian background -_-

I'm predicting Nishikori makes a good run maybe even into the quarterfinals

I totally hope so! I love that guy. :)

Already seeing these moments that are typical for Australian and USopen, loud and rude people in the crowd.. the referee just had to ask someone to stop calling(On his phone!) during rallies -_-

You would never see this in Roland Garros of Wimbledon.

This Nalbandian v Isner match seems never-ending. It's been going on for 4+ hours.

I love both of these guys, been a Nalbandian fan since he came on tour

my heart goes out to him on that challenge, shit was ridiculous

guys check marks and towel off before challenging all the time, this was a mass confussion and he seemed to raise his hand pretty quick

not sure what the chair was thinking on saying too long

Same. I love his attacking mentality and play style. He is definitely one of the most fun players to watch.

really just can't fucking wait for dolgopolov/tomic tonight

could be an incredible match, but then again the amount of possible deviance in quality is pretty high from both, so it might just be a beatdown one way or another - although i think this match goes at least 4.

for the lols

djokovic > mahut (obv is obv)
raonic > hewitt (probably goes 4 sets either way, and raonic may not be ready for the occasion. i think he is though)
tipsarevic > gasquet (could be a good match)
ferrer > chela (not sure how chela STILL keeps wandering into the 3rd/4th/qf of majors. props to him for getting the most of his game, ferrer just too good though)
murray > llodra (llodra would have to play out of his mind + hope murray has a bad day and i'm just not seeing it)
kukushkin > monfils (not trusting monfils at all, he probably wins here but i think kukushkin [also a quality player] can pull the upset)
nishikori > benneteau (kei breakthrough time is obv)
tsonga > gil (gil has nothing to threaten jo willy. this should be a straight sets beatdown)
kohlschreiber > falla (this also could be an incredible match, although i doubt it gets any coverage. i expect 5 sets, although i'm sort of playing guesswork on phils form here)
del potro > lu (good to see lu going rounds but just doesn't have enough to hurt jmdp)
dolgopolov > tomic (expecting a LOT of ebb and flow here. could be great, could be lopsided)
federer > karlovic (maybe dr ivo gets a set here, but i really can't see how he can beat roger in a best of 5. probably straights with a tb or 2)
anderson > berdych (think this is a closer matchup than the seeds would indicate. not sure really what to expect though, anderson has been trending up for awhile though and berdych can be shaky at times. the match is probably on berdych racquet tho)
wawrinka > almagro (this is a stupid pick on my part, simply because you should just never trust stan wawrinka. i think he will play well though, especially knowing he has points to defend)
isner > lopez (gotta think there will be at least 2 tiebreaks here, but isners win over fat dave probably did wonders for his confidence)
nadal > lacko (think nadal is just too solid. wouldn't be surprised if lacko can grab a set here, but don't think hes mentally capable of sustaining a high enough level for most of the match)

Really doubt anderson will beat berdych, but the rest is quite plausible :) Some are pretty much 50/50 though
