Guess what.. surprise surprise .. -_-

Between the 6-6 score and the tiebreak, Nadal asks for a medical break when Del Potro was going well. Takes 10 minutes (!!) to get his foot taped.. (like it couldnt wait until after the set). Starts the tiebreak fully fit again and isn't even looking at his foot anymore.. and won if of course because Delpo got frustrated because he had to wait all that time -_- Pathetic

I agree that the medical timeout could have waited, but there is no way that i'm going to blame that as the reason that Del Potro lost the set. You can't possibly say that he was frustrated when he immediately came out of the medical break and went up 3-0 in the tiebreak. That tiebreak was his for the taking at that point but he failed. Nobody's fault but his own.

Don't agree either with this, If you saw this years final it was really close. If Roger had not made that many unforced errors in the end of the first set (5-2 to 5-7 or so) he would've been even more motivated

it was close, but the amount of defeats federer has from nadal on clay courts speaks for itself

Also it wasn't that close. Nadal was superior in all the important aspects on clay. Well maybe exaggerating nadal a bit but still the difference between them was clearly visible. Federer would've needed to serve perfectly to maintain chances in the game, on grass it all changes thou.

Oh come on.. Nadal was clearly trying to stop Delpotro's playing rythm there. Whenever Nadal takes a medical timeout, he makes a big drama of it but in the end nothing is wrong and never looks back at his 'injury'.

Even björn borg on british tv was like.. 'Oh well it looks like nadals injury was far less serious than it seemed when he asked for the timeout'

CLEARLY Del Potro did the same later!! Ofc when he hurt something he wanted it checked! He wouldn't be going to a MRI if it weren't nothing..

But it's just really clear that whenever Nadal gets 'injured' during a match and calls in a medical break to stop the game for 10 minutes, he just continues without even looking hurt or even looking back at it. Usually *coincidence* it's also when he's having a tough match.

Getting it checked if it's serious, okay. But taking 10 minutes IN BETWEEN a 6-6 score and a tiebreak for something that was not serious AT ALL ? That's just playing sad games.

tsonga made sure this wasnt to be. huge upset. nadal and murray have to be the favourites now even though they play each other in the semis, djok looks tired and was my pre wimb pick, nadal looks tired and murray seems to be under the radar. if murray can beat nadal he might just win. but who nos thios has been the weirdest wimb for both men and women in some time.
