In no way does it take as much strength as most other sports.

The physical strength in tennis is different. Sure tennis pros can't bench as much as American football players, but they are beasts in other aspects.

Strength in tennis is not different, it's simply less important.

im telling you, guy holds tennis in such vain.

i love sporting, and competition, to me nothing compares; i love to go mano eee mano or team vs team. i dont like it when we start to debate which is a better sport etc.

this dogest guy is clearly holding tennis above all. since he's experienced winning in football etc he can compare it lol. he is reluctant to perceive others views or opinions

some of his points are on, but his vanity & arrogance diminish the effect.

So I'm guessing you guys have played at the highest levels of at least junior tennis on the USTA and know what it takes to win right?

You're not helping your case by acting like a tool.

i comprehend their underlying thesis too. but their delivery is arrogant and also subjectionaly.

as a football player, i was never one-dimensional; i played RB as a freshmen, then SB as a junior, then QB as a senior.
i mean thats just one example of versatility.

as i stated in the other thread and like these guys reiterate. the biggest discrepency between tennis and team sports, is the mental aspect. whats that book? the inner game of tennis? i've heard its groundbreaking

You were clearly horrible at football.

For the rest of you dumbfucks: tennis requires strength, speed, and skill just like any other sport. If you disagree, then you were clearly never a competetive player. Sorry.

i love tennis... but ive been more tired playing other sports (i just have extremely good cardio and tennis doesnt make you nonstop sprint like some other sports)

Well the average tennis player runs about two miles per match
It's not alot but most of it is just fast reaction sprints almost like basketball sideline sprints
This is just the average, pros I imagine do about 3+ times more than this
So it's not like this is a sport more on the lazy side that alot of people think
