Yes it will be extremely interesting if they meet at Roland Garros especially since he has never beaten Rafael in a best of 5 match before.

Yes, and Novak was 0-5 against Nadal in finals prior to the Indian Wells final this year. Since that tournament it is now 4-5...beating Nadal 4 consecutive times in finals, 2 on hard court and 2 clay, clay being Nadals best surface.

Things can change very quickly. Nadal has yet to face this new regenerated Djokovic in a major.

Buddy, he is ranked number one in the 2011 race ranking points, he's like 3500 points ahead of Nadal this year and 5,000 ahead of Federer. Nadal still has 3 major titles to defend from last year, that 6,000 points...he can't gain anymore more points from the rest of the majors this year, he can only break even meanwhile Djokovic can increase his race points as he only has  2 semi finals (RG and Wimbledon) and 1 final (USO). Face it Djokovic is the new king and number 1. The only way Nadal can hold onto the 1 ranking after RG is if he wins it again and Djokovic doesn't make the finals. Even if Djokovic loses in the 1st round and Nadal loses in the finals or earlier the number 1 ranking is DJokovics.

The race doesn't mean anything. As I said, Nadal can easily defend his points and continue being ranked. Yes, he has been technically the best player, but until he gets ranked number one on the officials rankings..
