True, I don't really see Fish or Isner close to that kind of results right now though :/

The most played sport in the world is soccer.

Which is actually the real football.

I call football rugby league though.

You can call soccer whatever you want, but the sport will never compare to american football.

Tennis remains the fastest growing traditional sport in America with a 43 percent increase in participation from 2000 to 2010.

got this from December issue of Boardroom magazine

Pretty interesting. I knew it had gained some ground, but I didn't realize it was the fastest.

Fish would be interesting to see in the top 10, and he is only 5 spots away.. I mean he clearly has the game to compete with the best, but it would be really interesting because of his style of play. However, no matter how well he does during Miami, we won't be seeing much of him till Queen's.

Yes, Querrey has the ability to get there as well. When he gets hot, I think he can pose a threat to anyone on the tour. It is always dangerous playing these guys with big serves and big forehands. Just a couple swings, and you can be down a set literally.

he has like no points to defend until cincy

he can get killed in the 3rd round of everything up until cincy and probably climb into the top 8, but i doubt i'd ever be looking at a draw and consider him to be the 2nd best player in any quarter

querrey in his current form will never win 7 bo5 matches in a row, hell i would be shocked to see him pull off even 5. too inconsistent on a day to day basis and mentally just not good enough

apart from roddick i would think isner is the biggest american threat to win a major (probably at either wimbledon or the uso) at least until we see more indicators from harrison as to where he might be going

I never said Querrey could win a major event, I'm just affirming that he can get to the top 10. I like Querrey's chances more than Isner either way. Querrey is more rounded IMO.
