Now a double breakpoint for Kubot! He made the first! 6-7 Kubot

Double matchpoint for Kubot!

Wow he won!

Big surprise here! Sam Querry is out! in the first round

Though with a ranking like that it's pretty strange.

My ultimate final: Djokovic - Federer, and Fed winning of course ;)

Did anyone see the exhibition thing yesterday ? the opening? Djoko was hilarious as always haha

That would be a good match up... however, they would meet the lastest @ the semifinals. But I'm picking Fed vs. Nadal/Soderling in the final of course. Fed winning.

Nadal should be in the finals... He has a pretty easy draw compared to the bottom half IMO. Tomic, while I do not particularly like his game, will be interesting to watch against Nadal if he makes it past Lopez which I think he has a very good shot of doing. Afterwards, Cilic/Isner vs Nadal could be entertaining as well, seeing that Nadal has always struggled with big servers, especially mentally, and Cilic won their only encounter. Of course that was when Nadal was still getting back into the mix of things and Cilic has since deteriorated randomly, especially last year.

Federer v Nadal appears to be the final. Tough to say who takes it though. Federer obviously has been the best hardcourt player since Wimbledon despite not winning USO, and Nadal hasn't really played well since the USO. IMO Rafael was quite lucky to make the final at the WTF. He played well, but Roddick went away mentally after he appear to be heading towards a straight sets win, Djokovic was being a pirate and Murray had plenty of chances. Berdych was his only solid match, but wins are wins in the end..

But anyways, personally if Nadal/Federer were to meet, I would want Federer to take it. Yes, I do prefer Federer's game over Nadal's, but Federer has taken so many painful losses versus Nadal, especially when getting denied of the CYGS 2 years straight, he needs it more than Nadal, plus Nadal is young. It would be a ironic and sweet victory if Federer were to defeat Nadal here to deny him of the 4 in a row, "Rafa slam."

Nadal is jut too tough mentally and emotionally to let it go, he wants the Grand Slam. He is also a freak of nature, which gives him the edge on defense and counterattacks, not to mention his forehand which will hurt anyone standing on its way. His weak spots are his backhand and his serve, though he has improved on both over the years, and its not like they are bad its just that they are not awesome like his forehand and his defense. Also he gets the edge against Federer, mainly because Roger seems to get emotionally shaken by Nadals confidence, which in turn makes him take bad decisions along the game imo. Federer obviously has a larger arsenal of tricks on its sleeve than Nadal, and also more technique, he just doesnt make full use of them. Federers best bet is to wait for someone to knock Nadals out.

Dang did anyone see how much of an asshole Tsonga was today? I used to think he was pretty cool and all.. but he's taking 10 minutes to switch rackets and stuff just when the other guy was serving a big point etc.. -_-

Crazy score btw @_@

6-4 6-2 3-6 2-6 4-6

Ivanovic out again -_- . Why does she always mess up on the big tournaments! I just don't get it! She won her last 2 of 3 tournaments and now exits in the first round again. I feel kinda bad for her because she always seems so determined but it never comes out and then she cries again..

Nalbandian is such a strange player by the way. He could be so great I think, but there is something missing for him to reach that. :/

Just my opinion on some games of today(tonight).

I hate that I can't watch anything live. The games are played from 1 am to about 11 am for my time, and I have school from about 9 to 4 so it's hopeless. :(

Delpo beats Sela, which is great! Sela is not one of the easier opponents I'd say. Would love to see Del Potro make it far into this tournament.
