Women's tennis really needs a new star! The top 5 is dominated by the same players for like 8 years -_-

Yeah and another reason that Williams are boring to watch is because of all those finals where Serena and Venus were matched up against each other. Some even thinks they made it up between them who should win (I don't know what to think here) but even if both gave their best, it wasn't as exciting because they looked like each other, same play style, same country, same fucking name, SISTERS!

The reason that I could watch the Federer-Nadal rivalry for another 20 years is not because they're men, but because the two of them are so different in everything. They are really each other's opposites and I think that's really great for the sport. So like you said, women's tennis needs a new star and if I may add... a RIVAL whos's anything the other is not.

Where did I say this? Henin is going to come back to her original form and challenge the sisters for years imo.

edit and you're an absolute tard for saying that.

SeaBas said that, maybe you should notice that I quoted his post before posting myself.

For saying what? The first bolded part? It has been discussed many times, but like I said, I don't have any opinion on the matter, but it's not unrealistic.

And obviously you're the tard for not coming with anything new to the discussion except new ways to insult the one you disagree with. -_-

e: I would love to see Henin come back to her original form, but please, God, please give her new opponent/s.

Mauresmo/Henin were the only two players that made the WTA watchable for me. No disrespect to the WTA and the players, but compared to the ATP, the WTA is very boring.. You have all these players who just play on the baseline and they try to hit drive volleys at every volley chance they have. Yes, baseline play is the majority in the ATP, but at least the balls are being struck much more quickly and players can actually hit a normal volley plus many players aren't afraid of coming in.

And that awful shrieking... I mean fucking the Williams sisters shriek even hitting a drop shot, I mean come on that is a fucking joke. But no really, it is like the same person has coached nearly every WTA player how to play tennis, they nearly all have the same strokes..

Most points in the WTA tour are made by unforced errors, and not by forced error/winners like in ATP. It just irritates me when I watch them play set after set and just stand on the baseline until one hits the net.

When 2 players are coming back after a ~3-5 (?) year break and can still be top players that really shows how weak the field of players is right now.

That is because they all play a VERY similar style and pretty much play everything from the baseline. But it is certainly very sad how seemingly easily Clijsters/Henin came back onto the tour. Yes, they are still young but come on, 3-4 tournaments only need to get back to a slam final?
