Spend the money, demo rackets. Or just don't buy one.

I've used nearly every type of Racquet over the 14 years I've played tennis, the ones I've found to be my personal favourites are either Babolat or Head

The current Racquet I use is the Head Microgel Extreme, I have three of these each strung with a 60lbs tension

I recommend Head :) I just got three new Head racquets, Head Prestige YouTek MP, but I enjoyed Head Flexpoint a lot, it's an older racquet so I guess you can get it cheap.

i have two babolat pure drives with cortex for sale right now if you are interested, we can go through tennis-warehouse or eebay if you are interested

even if not interested,

babolat pure drives are a great way to develop and get to the next level in your game, it's an increadibly popular frame for a reason

once you get comfortable with that frame players tend to move onto a 'player's frame' which is a heavy stick that is intended to control more then blast the ball

Tbh if you're just a casual player and play for fun, but still plays often enough to get your own racquet, it doesn't really matter what racquet you get, I doubt you can tell the difference anyway.
