Federer is a more complete player, an all around player...

Right now, he is the king on grass and on hard, the only one that he cant beat is Nadal, and that is on clay only...   and he is not old.. he is about 25 if im not wrong...  he can easily play 5+ years consistently, wining grand slams, which btw he already have 7, the record is with Sampras (14 grand slams titles ).

nadal has beaten him the last 7 times or soemthing the last 7 matches cudnt possbly be all on clay so hes beaten him on hard sometime, the problem with the french is federer wont beat him on it but hes 25 and nadal is 19 or something so hes got a big problem there

I just checked, Federer is from 8 - aug - 1981 (24 years right now) and Nadal 3 - jun - 1986 ( 20 years old )
Federer has 38 career titles(7 grandslams) while Nadal has 17(2 grand slams) and Sampras has 64(14 grand slams...). Now Federer won $23 millions in prizes, Nadal $7 millions... Sampras won $43 millions... rolleyes.gif

in all their matchs, 6-1 to nadal, no grass games tho

true... however, Nadal is not as good on hard courts as he is on clay... orelse he would prolly got a grandslam title in a hard court, like US Open or Australian Open...

this is how i see:

GRASS - Federer>Nadal
CLAY - Nadal>Federer
HARD - Federer=Nadal ...both got good chances to beat eachother in this type of court.. i also have the same opinion in carpet courts

Now back to my point, Federer is an ALL AROUND player, he FITS his game depending on the opponent style, that comes with the experience hes got... on the other hand Nadal is so good on clay he simply ignores his opponents style and apllys the same type of playing for w/e opponent he faces.

Look... I think that Nadal > Federer but there are some other players that can beat Nadal and cant beat Federer.... The reason for Nadal being able to defeat Federer so easy is cuz Federer's best hits are balls under the shoulder, Nadal hits full spin so the ball gets too high or too low so Federer is bad against this kind of balls.
Thats also the reason why Nadal>Federer on Clay by much.

I agree, Nadal is the only one that can beat Federer consistently, but others can beat nadal... see the irony.. thats why i think federer should use his slice a lot more against nadal, since nadal hits with a lot of top spin...

Besides that i think nadal is getting his game improved on grass, he just need more improvement in his service and volleys...
