What do you guys prefer to play on?

Meh, most of my mates wants to practise outdoors and it's annoying as hell since I can't be bothered with clay anymore... whenever it's raining one day I'm the first one to call my mates to play because then indoors is the last option :P

It's just too slow on clay and playing like a phaggot by just pushing the ball constantly without creating anything is rewarded way too much on clay.

On the other hand I enjoy watching tennis on clay much more than hardcourt :P Funnier points to watch, and I suppose clay color is more relaxing to watch than the cold (often blue) hardcourt.

if you want to get better

play on clay every day

hit the ball with topspin, get arc on the ball at least 4 feet over the net
go crosscourt a few times

learn to slide

there is no comparrison

if you have clay courts avaialable, you should spend time on them

great for developing all around game,
its why american tennis has struggled last 10 or so years with most of the world practicing on clay 9 moths of the year

I like hardcourt, because it doesn't get your shoes dirty :P in playing style I don't really have a favourite

Grass

is oldschool and virtually useless tehse days

has shorter points, therefore lack of point construction

not to mention the best shot possible on grass is a slice...

clay wins, once again why america is struggling tennis wise, most of the world plays on clay 9 months of the year....
we dont hence, fail

also americans have no variety nor know how to slice, slide

if you look at our players, they really all play the same, it's really uninteresting tennis... :(
ntm even though our players have huge serves, non can volley to save their lives....

jesus have u seen roddicks slice??

Do you play at a club that has real grass courts?

To be honest, uptil now playing, I felt the difference of the ball coming but not on the movement, probably only in clay you can slide...etc but with my coach I wasn't allowed to do that so, both of them are good!!
