they hammered him in the interview and at 1 stage he said that his goal every year is to enjoy himself, that shit would not be enjoyable, why do the media do that he lost 1 game, hes fucken human and yet they pry and pry trying to bleed the stone dry.

im a federer fan but i feel bad for nadal, would defently be the biggest downside of being such a great player.

I hate seeing one player win all the majors so I wanted him to lose(did the same with Fed when he won almost every major). But you never want to see a player go out because of injury. It's really too bad, gotta feel for the guy. When you're on the top everyone is going to gun for you and make a story with whatever they can. I mean the guy rolled into the quarters with ease, something 99% of the players on tour can't do, and that counts for something.

see i wanna see federer dominate as much as he possibly can, i do truely believe he is the greatest of all time, but i wanna see him topple the best, and although federer isnt in his prime now and nadal is it would be nicer to see fed beat nadal in finals instead of players like murray or whoeva who just arent on fed/nadal level.

federers iron grip over tennis a few years ago was like nothing i have even seen in tennis, and he changed the game, made shots that ppl thought were impossible look easy, nadal to me is just a power baseline forehand player but federer is the complete package. i do understand where ur coming from but i wanna say i have seen the best ever, so the more fed adds to his legacy the more it pushes his claims.

Well it's not like this is a big shock in the tennis world -_-

Looking at his playing style and training at an early age these injuries were predicted years ago. I also think the pressure for him to win wasn't helping him either. And Ferrer was playing great..

I agree with almost everything you guys said... it's really a shame he got injured... I didn't really see the match cause of the school except first set up till 1-4, so I kinda had a bad feeling about it.
I just hope Federer can take this slam...

Oh and SeaBas, I changed my mind, I would rather see Djokovic win than Murray :D Murray is just too ugly to become a grand slam winner.

Murray rolled in hotter than Nadal. Your post is now invalid.

Part of being number one is maintaining health. When it's all said and done Federer is 1000 times the tennis player Nadal is because he maintained his health year in year out.

Thats a shame, I was expecting Nadal to take this slam and finish the Grand Slam(well not in the same year but in sequence still quite an achievement it would be), that would certainly make Federer mad cuz it would be 1 thing he has not done yet, as of now he doesnt quite have the eye of the tiger as he used to so something like that could maybe spark a little flame inside him.

Yes, I'm sure Federer is mad knowing he's won almost twice as many majors as Nadal.

I honestly think part of Roger's motivation to keep playing is to keep Nadal from beating his records haha. Federer is all about statistics
