The last time I had my serve tested was in 2006, when I was 15-16 years old. The fastest I served (according to the machine) was 174km/hr (108miles/hr)

I'm now 20 years old, and will be testing my serve again in 2-3 weeks, AND, am confident I will be able to reach anywhere from 185-200km/hr (114-125miles/hr) for the first serve. My second serve has a lot of top spin, and will therefore be much slower

Anyways, to the point:-

Have you ever had your serve speed tested? How fast did you serve?

I have always wanted my serve speed tested.
There were only a couple of people in my league that served faster than I did, and I never really did flat serves.

Well I tested mine like 2 years ago when I was 16 years old, then I served at ~180 km/h with my first serve (dunno 2nd), now I guess it's 185-190 km/h so speed hasn't improved a lot but my placement and consistency has. Also my second serve is a lot better now than it was 2 years ago.


edit: oh I also remember I served when I was like 11 years old having played 1,5 years or smth, and got it to 92 km/h, I was so happy considering no one else in my group got past 80

Well, I only do 2nd serve atm, my coach made it in purpose so I can then Have 1st + 2nd very good ones, and it is approximately 164kmh.

Here comes the e-stats

Fastest serve that I hit in was 128. I never hit that hard in a match though since I can only hit with that speed and in maybe 15% of the time. My first is usually 110-115, second around 85

I wonder how many of these people are actually going to be serious about this thread.
