So I've been dabbling in league since season 1, I know quite a bit about the game so have a pretty good grasp on mechanics and how champions work but never made it above silver, so definitely no smurf.
I watch a lot of boot camp videos from all different streamers, mostly boot camp stuff to learn more.

I see a lot of people being taught in ranked games on youtube where their opposing team players are absolutely terrible, even in high ranked streamers games I see it, solorenektononly is a good example, his opposing team literally act like bots sometimes.

I've been playing a few games in ranked Iron the last couple days and have lost almost every game due to the opposing team just completely shitting on mine. Even one game I believe I did really well in where I went 12/5 or something and still lost due to everyone else on my team losing lanes and not being able to win a single team fight, this goes for me as well, I'm not saying I'm not part of the problem.

Have I done something wrong, maybe because my account is older im put against people that have higher skill? why are the teams I'm matched against always infinity better than me and my team?

This is by no means a cry for "I want to completely stomp bad players all day"
I really just don't feel that the people I'm currently playing in ranked Iron belong in Iron and should be much higher and I want to figure out how to get into more even match ups.

How many games did you play this season? You usually see the reflection of your rank after 300 games.

This season not that many, really only been playing the last 4 days I think, I ended up switching champions to something better at taking objectives and got bronze this morning, games seem to be a little more even now too, not sure if iron has a lot of smurfs or what.
