Hello everyone!

I was wondering if promotion series still exist for Silver tiers and below

I'm being told 2 different things by my friends so I'd like to see if anyone knows with certainty
I've looked at the online wiki but can't find an absolute answer

For instance, I know as a fact that promotion series exist when going from G1 -> P4, unless your MMR is ridiculously high

How about S1 -> G4? People have told me that promotion series don't exist for tiers below gold

Can anyone confirm or deny?

i'm pretty sure that promotion series doesn't exist only in placements, otherwise even if you are iron 1 > bronze 4 you'll still have to pass the promotion series, if they changed anything this new season then i'm not sure

Gotcha. Guess they only moved promotion series between divisions but kept it for tiers
