Been an adc main since about season 3, lately I’m finding it more and more frustrating. Whether it’s just the genuine weakness of the role (feel like it’s been the least impactful for the last 2 or 3 seasons, with only a small handful of viable champs at any given time), having to lane with a random person which without chemistry can cause toxicity, or just always being completely under leveled compared to other roles in the game and getting 1 shot by things like 1-5 ekko’s in the mid game.

I’ve mainly one tricked MF lately because the only other adc’s who are viable, Jhin and Samira, I don’t play.

Idk what to do.. tough it out with hopefully some much needed buffs to other adc’s or make a role change to something different and fresh?

sounds like a role change won't solve any of your issues other than not having to lane with randoms.

It’ll solve the issue of not having to play a pretty weak role... no? It’ll also solve the issue of not being a comparatively low level

Sounds like u just have shit positioning if u die to 1/5 ekko and lower level doesnt really matter.
Adc isnt a hyper carry lane like previous seasons but its certainly not a weak role.

my Heimerdonker likes adc role the best!
2targets better then 1 target for: graps/manaflow/pressence of mind/damage
and you can be more agressive and pushing in botlane then in top/mid

and there is always a AD at the mid/top/jgl

But yeah regardless, a ekko (or any other assassin for that matter) with fuck all gold income can still dive the back line in the mid game and 1 shot most adc

They really can't though... first off they aren't going to just dive ur tower 2v3 most of the time, they will want to 4v2 with the jg.
Which you should be aware of objectives and resources they would be after, scuttle, drag, etc so you will be ready with vision+hawkeyeing the minimap for anything.

Only thing it sounds like to me is you are just going to take the issues to another lane, god forbid top where half the time you won't even see your JG, so you will actually get dove 2v1, since it's easier to 2v1 than 3v2. Then the post becomes, should i leave top lane and main mid, since I never get ganks and I get tower dove by every tanky jungler shitting all over this season.

I never said anything about an ekko tower diving in lane. Sounds like you’re projecting and making quite a few assumptions... I just want to enjoy the game mate, and atm adc is extremely weak in solo queue... that’s all I’m saying, and I don’t think it’s unreasonable to agree with my sentiments
