use ricochet to push waves. Ricochet also forces them to back off minions or it will bounce to them, then you Q to poke them as they back off minions or Q the wave to shove harder. The issue with sivir is she is so cookie cutter its hard to play her good, most times when playing her your goal isnt kills, its more about shoving the wave continuously under tower while making them feel helpless in cs. Sivir is very strong at lane control and is a excellent champ for dragon control/rotating (shoved in lanes cant protect dragon without losing exp/CS). Also shoving lane and getting river control is the most important aspect of sivir, if you can set up a hard push into a rotate for dragon/ fake it and jump from the bush your gonna see great success. shes great at baiting but is aweful in 1v1's/2v2's and hadnt been meta for a long time. If you truly want success i went from a low gold player to high plat/low diamond just from joining a one trick discord and talking to people who have played the champ nonstop for weeks/months. They are the ones who are gonna tell you what you should be building/rushing/skipping. I rather learn from someone who one tricks said champ then a random like me who only has half an idea of what hes talking about, so ditch this thread and join a "one trick discord" because youll get real help there.
Edit: please dont take advice from randoms who dont play the champ/lane religiously. A plat player may be plat in 1 role and silver in another. Ive meet diamond top laners who get jg filled and still smite jg buffs on the leash. Just because you can play 1 champ/role at a high level doesnt mean you can pick up any champ/role and play that said champ at a equally high level. My sup is low diamond level, jg is mid plat level, adc is low plat, but my top lane/mid is low gold at best.
