duo partners have to be within a league or 2 of each other rank-wise so i'm not sure what you're asking here. if they're both smurfs, or just one is a smurf it is not cheating.

So a bronze cannot duo with diamond but can with gold

this happens all the time

it's not cheating, but it's frowned upon
nothing you can do about it, everyone is allowed to have as many accounts as they want and they have to start somewhere, so if a challenger makes an account then obviously it starts at low MMR

Under D3 - The two ranks must show maximum 1 league of difference
Over D4 - The two ranks must show maximum 2 divisions of difference

Kind of correct

"SOLO QUEUE LIMITATIONS
Iron Tier: Can only queue with Iron, Bronze, and Silver Tier players.
Bronze Tier: Can only queue with Iron, Bronze and Silver Tier players.
Silver Tier: Can only queue with Iron, Bronze, Silver, and Gold Tier players.
Gold Tier: Can only queue with Silver, Gold, and Platinum Tier players.

Platinum Tier: Can only queue with Gold players, Platinum players, or Diamond players who are at most two tiers above them
(so Plat I can queue with Diamond IV and Diamond III, Plat II can queue with Plat I and Diamond IV, but Plat III can only queue up to Plat I).

Diamond: Can queue 2 divisions up or down (so Diamond IV can queue with Plat I, II, and Diamond II, III, etc.).

Master Tier: Can only queue with Master, Grandmaster, Diamond I and II, and Challenger Tier players.
Grandmaster Tier: Can only queue with Diamond I, Master, Grandmaster, and Challenger Tier players.
Challenger Tier: Can only queue with Master, Grandmaster and Challenger Tier players"

Didn't know the D4 limitation and the fact that an Iron can queue up with a Gold so that you can have Gold 1 duoing with an Iron 4, lol.

Whatever, all low elo so it's kinda worthless rule till high Dia.

May be too big of a gap
Think the divisions has to be closer for it to apply e.g. (g4 to iron 1)
Cause I've had a few situations where the rule didn't apply, may be an issue with mmr.

It's just nice to know when finding duo accs for boosts

The cool thing is that when you're unranked even if you're so higher elo, it counts your temporary and not your MMR.
