what is solo flex?

ranked flex is meant for teams or 3 or 5 but you can play as a solo or duo as well, I'm just currently playing solo q under the flex format

Well i am in b1 climbing to silver steadily but i play solo/duo que dont really know what the advantages of flex are tbh

It's really only fun when you have a premade of 3 or 5.

I use it to practice my off roles or warm up because it tends to be better than playing blind/draft pick (higher skilled players and less trolls).

Don't get me wrong it's not to troll or first time new champs, but for me personally I use it to practice on champs I already know how to play and to apply my macro knowledge in a different lane to round out my skills.

so wait is that a seperate ranked? or is it just different way of playing ranked

it is ranked but with the ability to add more people.
separate elo from solo queue but same system behind the scenes.
