If you win you’re gonna be matched with better opponents, and if you losing consistently in that tier it means you’re not good enough

w/e but i think as well as matched vs harder teams.,. i think that your team gets worse and worse,.. they dont seem to be on same lvl as you after you win 4-5-6 in a row,, i might be just dreaming,,
but this is what i think happens,, to even out peoples win rate.. and ya master players none of this will matter tell they hit diamond or so they can 1v9 all game every game im not that guy.,.

Hashinshin proves that this logic applies to all elos, and unfortunately its detrimental to personal progress. Riot didn't write or implement a conspiracy code to keep people in check.
The game does however check your progress vs given mmr ratings and tweaks it accordingly. On losing streaks your opponents will get easier. On winning streaks they will get harder.
Sometimes you'll face smurfs, sometimes they'll silently carry you. So those games are outliers and shouldn't really be taken in to account.

I can assure you that there's likely someone on the team that just beat you who also feels like their team mates are getting worse and worse.
Only thing you have 100% control over is the 20% of your teams effort in winning.

His mentality holds him back that's for sure.
I can't state the case of him being trash given that i'm nowhere near as good.
