I was away from league for some time now, wasn't really reading patch notes or played at all.
I see new support items.

Few questions
1. Support items have no penalty for gold gain once you kill a minion?
2. I heard gold gains from farming are low in bot lane, what about solo lane?
3. Are support items now viable on top/mid laners since you can farm normally + get stacks while poking/trading? Also ally champion doesn't need to be close to you anymore to get gold from Spellthief
4. Could this possibly be the return of Klepto Karma/Janna/Sona on top?

1) when farm cs, you not get a penalty on your frostfang recharge rate
2) solo or botlane not matters
2+3) "Receive diminishing gold from excessive minion kills": Farming more than 20 CS per 5 minutes (3 out of 10 waves) reduces gold from minions by 50%. The penalty increases with further CS to a max of 80% reduction at 50 minions. Once the penalty kicks in, your CS gold is reduced to (70 - CS within 5 minutes)%.
4) klepto removed from game

6.66) ones your support item urned 1000Coins, you not get any proc-gold no longer, only the 3gold per 10

I've seen top Teemo yesterday in flex playing with Spellthief and guy finished his support item + Liandry 12 mins ingame.
He sold his support item later.

I wouldn't say it needs yeah.
Also support item is only 400 gold, and it ends up being 60 AP / 150 Health item. Also it gives 1000 gold fairly easily with ranged top laner such as teemo (well, 600 gold if you take out the starting 400 you payed for item). Idk how much gold you get once you decide to sell fully upgraded item though.
We need some math done here with % of worth ratio with 400 gold vs 60ap/150hp

my toplane teemo is pretty bad at farming, it starts refillible pot and boots
ones you have AP, farming becomes more ezz ofc



frostfang = 18gold per 10 = 54gold per 30 = 3.08caster and melee minions per wave

So when use frostfang toplane, you get 3.08+(0.3*6.333) = 5minions per wave

5/6.333===> 79%farmrate required to get more income then frostfang solo lane

adc: get frostfang, share some farm with support, sell frostfang when fully upgraded



new summoner code: all laners keep away from the cannon atm the support is in range of it
only the support and the jgler can farm at 100%income rate
all laners, stop farm and ping the jgler to tax harder
