I don't think so because having to use her ult in lane might manipulate the wave undesirably.

Through lane phase she's not bad, since her wall and Q can either prevent all ins or help set up ganks...but like Mann said, her ult is pretty challenging to use without drawing turret aggro or taking cs.

Bard is a monster in lane and offers great utility afterwards. Even during lane, he can roam to mid or invade the enemy jungle better than any other support. Plus that ult

before ult rework i played her alot support

Liandry+ult was all the damage needed
never use icebolt, just q+wall

the wall is verry good as support, its like a support ultimate
i always maxed Wall first on support role, after few points in q, and zero in w
just like Teemo can max w first on support role

after ult-rework, the ultimate not realy feels like reliable cc or dps, and its more about hitting q
