i think tank veigar still have 2 AP items: deathcap(for passive) and archangel(for mana flow band and cdr)

deadmans plate is good on alot of champs

Makes cages easier, also gives you another peel tool when cage is down. U can pmuch just spam Glp, and twin shadows gives you chase and makes checking blind easier
Super good vs immobile champs, champs that rely on ms (Voli), low range adcs

Also serves as another waveclear tool if they pushing into you.

Personally I still like ludens tho. I just like having the extra cdr earlier, and build can be alot more flexible.

Glacial does rely a bit more on your team having a brain which is not that great on boosts. Also it forces you to go domination secondary to really get the full benefit of glacial which is not ideal for some hard matchups that you prolly want to go resolve in.

i only tried glacial with glp+shadows but seemed weird doing it with tank setup (visage/frozenheart) .. whats the best rune for basic veigar?

Yeah we're not going the same tank build lol. Frozen heart is 700 range, if your playing veigar properly your likely not in that range alot.

Glp shadow you should get dcap within 4 items

I would go comet or glacial

Personally I like comet + resolve (sometimes domination in a free lane) . I see alot of veigar mains go Electrocute with ravenous hunter tho (your r becomes a mini heal if you ever get jumped) . If your pretty smart spellbook + resolve is super good. Tbh I think all 4 are viable, it just depends on how you play veigar lol. I just wouldn't go tank veigar on glacial is all
