Looking for confirmation that this is/isn’t the most effective strategy currently


6 assassin with a chogath (level 2 is a must)as fake assassin(youmus)

Add burst AoE four or five drop champion on top (Draven/Aurelian Sol/karthus/brand/2nd chogath are some good choices)

Get a gold zed(get a gold Kat if you can’t get Zed)


Put a spear of shonin on level 2 Pyke, and all damage items on the big zed or Kat.


You will win every game or close to it with this comp

it can work well, but some teams counter other teams better. I think alot of elementalist team's with their units against the wall with glacial + a bait unit like yasuo on the side counter it. Yordle team's should do pretty well vs em too.
most people prefer to have the tanks actually tank for their team when they pick units like chogath so it probably won't always be best to have cho become an assassin, though i'm sure he does often put in work regardless when he crits, cause even 1 cost 2 star units like darius can crit for like 2k with just assassin buff.

usually it seems like the easiest team to win with is item stacked draven with imperial buff.

assassins can also get unlucky with crits and get fucked over, but basically so far in all of my random testing, it seems like you can actually win with a VERY large assortment of builds, but most of them involve huge aoe cc like cho/sej/gnar/yasuo

Decent early, but good luck killing a team with some big pd tanks and a double shogun lulu ulting them

Glacial and yordle teams would both stomp it imo

I whooped a glacial comp with it, in the time of chpgaths ult Zed and Pyke put down so much damage.

Haven’t really ran into a big tank only team late in any games.

I should preface that I intentionally tank every fight until after the second carousel, prioritizing BF swords and Tears on the wheel (Youmu ChoGath is an absolute must)

I gotta be honest, gold Zed with an IE or other damage doesn’t really fall off late,with 6 assassins he shreds all game, I was hitting 1k damage criticals end game. And won 4 of 5

It's all RNG, sometimes the the sin comp will destroy sometimes it'll do nothing. My money's on saying the odds slightly favour the glacial comp however. CC fucks assassins.


I will say double shogun pyke is stupidly broken though and needs immediate nerf

See, I was trying HARD to get glacial to work but it just doesn’t feel like it does. Where does the damage come from?? From what I can tell Ashe is a shite champ and items like rageblade/IE etc would be much better utilized on a Draven. I get that the CC is nice, but I feel like ChoGath CC makes up for it and. Like I said I just don’t feel like u do consistent damage with the glacial comp

You need a big carry for the deeps, like vayne or draven

Sej, voli, braum, ashe, lissandra, vayne/draven, anivia, brand, lulu would be something good to aim for the cc and aoe would obliterate most comps

Volibear is pretty underrated imo

here was my 1st game of the day, didn't fully commit to anything but elementalists and left my options open for 4x glacial + 2x ranger (that's a 3 star vayne) or 4x imperial, but even the way the team was there, I don't see how an assassin team beats this.

even this kind of shitty team where I couldn't get the items I wanted/finish the units I wanted I still ended up winning this fight to finish the game just cause the corner is good vs em/comes down to crit rng/not all of the melee assassins can get in to auto. pyke couldn't auto for nearly the whole fight. BT on asol was cause I got him with a negatron from carousel and it was the last round and I needed to place my bf sword LOL. troll items for him.



aftermath of the brand ult bounces finishing + asol ult + karth ult. Morg ult finishes off the pyke and damages the eve after this.

Cho'gath is stupid OP. Assassins can make for an amazing team, I have good luck with any team including Akali and/or Zed.
