I could really use some guidance on how to get back into the game again after a crazy long break from the game.

So last time I played the game was 7 years ago in 2016. Remember quitting just after Camille got released.
Played mostly Platinum league with one season getting into Diamond.
Mained Top and Bottom with my roaster being:
Mid Lane: Ahri, Syndra, Xerath, Katarina, Zed, Vel'Koz, Diana, Viktor, Talon, Orianna, Brand, Cassiopeia, Lux, Ezreal.
Top Lane: Jax, Malphite, Nasus, Gragas, Garen, Vladimir, Renekton, Rumble, Riven, Jayce.
Obv 24 champions is to much to start up learning again. What champions are worth playing in the current meta?

Annie believe it or not. One of the highest w/r mid.

Jungle fiddle is always s tier

Bot lane , Ashe is good right now just got some buffs. Cait is always gonna be safe and still hyper carry.

Riven hasn’t been nerfed in years, naturally stronger than most champs in the game right now

Diana is also great, but she is better off in the jungle. She has one of the best clears, and with current jungle it’s rewarding to full clear gank, clear, gank

So Riven is good a snowballing top?

Obv I will be playing low ranks here in the start. So I will probably be focusing on my game mechanics in the start hence why I'm just looking for some strong lane champions. And focus less on roaming and objectives to finsh the games asap.
Jungle always been my least favorite role in the game. I have no issues playing anything else.

What 3 top champions and 3 mid champions would you recommend?

edit if I had to pick some favorites I focused on back in the days:
Mid Lane: Ahri, Syndra, Katarina, Zed.
Top Lane: Jax, Vladimir, Renekton, Riven.

dont touch riven if u dont wanna 1 trick her, shes really weak if u dont know how to cancel between autos everytime, jax and renekton are mostly about better map awareness, really nice to play in this meta, vlad is good at mid
all those midlaners are fine, ahri got really high skill ceiling now with everfrost, u mind wanna check some yt videos how to use it properly, really nice, syndra got changed and its mostly scaling into lategame not much power early on.
if u somehow get filled on supp pick naut, really simple and strong, all the champs from ur 1st post are nice if u know how to play them, dont play ezreal mid hes pretty nice pick for adc though so u can use it there,
using high apm champs will get u in shape quicker, sure u will be really rusty at 1st but its a good practice, since u play top mostly learn how to jungle track, its super popular lately and if u do it correct u cant/wont get ganked

Check out op.gg it's your best friend when it comes to meta. Tells you right off the bat the best ranking champs for each role.

Top line 1 tricks: gangplank, riven, irelia, Fiora, Jax, maybe some others like Gwen? Etc.

Mid line 1 tricks: akshan, rumble. Not rly any others coming to mind. Maybe like victor,Galio, yasuo, kat, azir. Sometimes akali/A”qiyana/taliyah?

Update.
I uninstalled the game the last night. I played about 25 ranks game beforehand.
But quickly remember why I quit this game 7 years ago

I did have quite a few GG games. Got MVP quite a few times on Mundo.

What made u quit so fast if u were popping off? that seemed like an abrupt turn for the worst lol

At least 25% of the games was very toxic. So many of the games just felt like time wasted. Had a hard time shaking the bad feeling of me.
