Well any good players can shut Jax down. He is 100% dependent on items. Don't let him get minions kills / champ kills.

Then he is almost worthless.

Get your nukers to target him, he's dead. Can't dodge spells.

Don't get me wrong, he's a great hero. But not something that can be played without good teamwork.

For full tanking purposes i would say either chogath or rammus, but my personal favorite to be on my team is shen. He may not be a fully blown tank, but gets the job done, and rips kids in the process.

The best tanks are Nasus (If played as a tank) / Allistar / Amumu / Taric (More of a support than a true tank) / Malphite / Blitzcrank (Only if the person is good on him ex. grabbing)
