Let's be honest here. In scandinavia that's called pissing a year away. We drink, travel and spend more money than we earn.
Why try to find the dream job? It's the people you work with that makes the job exciting or shitty, and all in all, we work to make money.
Get a job in the oil industry -> make an obscene ammount of money in comparison to the hours you put in -> don't waste 500k and 5 years studying a subject that you're not even certain you want to work with.
Best advice I can give you mate. Athlethics is great, but at some time you have to either go pro, or regard it as what it is for 99% of the population: A hobby.
Besides, didn't anyone ever tell you that the best cardio you can have is through sex?

1) Not gonna use more money than I earn this year, drinking is also very limited due to handball, and so is traveling.
2) I'm trying to find a line of work that fits my interests and creates a great income, and which I dont have the feeling of "fucking hell, going to work again >.<"
3) Education doesnt cost 500k in Denmark..

4) I'm aiming to go pro, which is why I'm dedication my time to it. I was pretty close at getting into a really good spotlight last year, at October the coach of the Danish U-19 National Team spoke to me about how much I had improved, and how I was close to be able to compete for a spot in the rooster for that team. Just for comparison, they won the World Championship for U19 teams 3 weeks ago or something. Sadly I got injured in my knee in the very beginning of November, where the club I'm playing in already awarded me with regular training with the pro senior team plus picked me up in the rooster for games on sight (only got to be there once, full time on bench, like a week or two later, I got injured....). So yea, I'm still recovering from my 7-8 months without too much training, but I'm beginning to get at a really good level again. Hopefully this year of dedication can allow me to compete for a contract in a bigger club towards the next season (Aug. 2014)
5) May be good cardio, but thats not exactly the kind of cardio I need for handball, so I'm doing that more for the enjoyment
