Yea apparently he plays HoN now idk, but he was the best random player in broodwar ever. Had a scandal with using Map Hack in the past but still had more tourney success than almost all foreigners.

i think you're speaking of after korea entered the scene in a major way

i don't know how involved you were in the community back then but to say slayer wasn't dominant among na players in vanilla is naive
im speaking of the pre-brood war era... note 'vanilla'

testie only played in brood war and never was particularly notable to me as it is
dunno how i forgot legionnaire, though i'd also say he was a brood war player moreso than vanilla
