Quick reflection on the preseason:
All I wanted was to get out of Gold V, but ended up in Plat MMR somehow. 150 games to get to Gold IV, 70 games to climb to Plat. I can chalk that up to switching to Support as a primary role and leaving Jungle as secondary, then keeping my champion pool narrow. Helped a lot with improving at more fundamental aspects of the game; feel a lot more comfortable watching the map, figuring where I need vision, when/where to roam, what to do in fights, etc.
Mechanics still need a lot of work though, specially dodging skillshots when they come (I do pretty OK with predicting). I also need to be a lot more decisive when I notice there's a play to be made; it often takes me an extra second or two to process whether it'll be a good probability play or not and end up passing on the chance. Happens too much in bot lane all-ins, usually letting a kill get away. I think my reactive plays are good but I definitively need to be more proactive, specially with my flash.
I'm seeing Braum/Janna be taken more often as I go higher, and with Soraka getting nerfed to the ground next patch I need to find another legit supp to play. I can do alright with Vel or Karma but they're not for every game, and my Thresh/Morg are just hilariously bad. Might start picking Lulu when I see my two OG's taken.
Season 6 goals: Get into Plat forreal, then reassess depending on how long it took.
