spell vamp is like life steal
life steal = heal from dmg dealt
spell vamp = heal from spell dmg dealt

yes ability power boosts ur magic dmg for ur spells
it shows u how much dmg when u leave ur mouse over the spell and the number is in green

AP is also used to gauge how bad certain players are, for instance if you see a shaco with ap he is obviously bad, or a veigar with less then 800 ap can't last hit for shit. :3

and veigar with 400+ ap can already last shot most of the champs

are there very many champs that do the attack damage route then? As in their main dmg is physical?

Started playing Gragas which I like as a tank/support type. I tried the AP route, but can never get very many items to really boost my AP before the game is done.

Funny. You Need Casters In Higher ELO just as much as you need Tanks, If your all Physical Hmm Thorn Mail and Armour.. If your all Casters Its Magic Resist and Banshee's. A good Team is about covering all the grounds, Dont Tell New Players this BS just gonna run into more horrbile Players, Its better to help them then flame the topic there asking about.

And at the Coolwave, There is Plenty of champs that can go the attack damage Route, Theres even some who can hybrid. Just look at the recommended items and you can normally get a good guess at which route is best, and about getting alot of AP its Slow at first but as you get better and get ganks you will see Your AP get higher and Higher end game. But all AP builds normally have Survivability problems just be sure to stay behind your tank in this case.
